On June 12th just after 6pm, State Police Trooper Strasser responded to a 4 vehicle crash on US-101, near Devils Churn. All cars involved in the crash were travelling North bound. Investigation showed the driver of a red Dodge Dakota, slowed down attempting to turn left into a viewpoint area. The driver of a red Toyota Camry, was following close behind the Dakota and was unable to stop in time and rear ended the Dakota. A red Dodge Voyager, was following the Camry and was unable to stop in time and rear ended it. A blue Subaru, was following to close to the Voyager and rear ended them. Drivers from the Camry, Dodge and Voyager were cited for following to close. The driver from the Dakota was cited for driving uninsured. The driver of the Voyager was transported to Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital with complaints of back and neck pain.
