
Sunday afternoon just after 3pm State Police Trooper Larson responded to a two vehicle, injury, non-blocking traffic crash on Hwy 101 near the Ona Beach State Park. The crash investigation found the driver of a Silver Hyundai Sedan, 23-year old Veronica Garcia of Milton-Freewater entered the Hwy when it was not safe to do so and pulled out in front of a Maroon Ford Truck resulting in a T-bone type crash. All occupants were transported to Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital in Newport by Pac-West Ambulance. The Oregon State Police were assisted by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, ODOT, Pac-West Ambulance, and Seal Rock Fire. Both vehicles were removed from the scene by Rowley’s Towing. Garcia was cited for Failure To Obey Traffic Control Device.
