Fire Chief (FC) Larry Robeson and Assistant Fire Chief (AFC) Dave Inman were on their way back from Hunstville, Alabama this morning with a City vehicle they purchased for the Toledo Fire Department and were hit at a high rate of speed from another vehicle causing their truck to roll several times.
FC Robeson and AFC Inman sustained multiple injuries and the outcome is optimistic.
Our thoughts are with them and their families for a full recovery. Both families request their privacy be respected at this time and we want to extend condolences to the families of the occupants of the other vehicle. We thank you for your support and will continue to update as more information comes in.
