Each year, Angels Anonymous, a local non-profit 501C-3 charitable organization consisting of 17 volunteers, gives thousands of dollars to help residents of North Lincoln County with immediate and basic needs. The organization helps those who have exhausted every other avenue of assistance. In 2020 and 2021 Angels Anonymous provided assistance to over 125 victims of the Echo Mountain Fire and continues to provide a “hand up” to those in need. The generosity of donors and money raised at two annual events makes this possible.
Both events, The Surf City Car Show & Sound Off in August and The Angels Anonymous Festival of Trees and Angels Ball in December are held at Chinook Winds Casino Resort.
This year the combination of raffle ticket sales of items donated by the many vendors at the
Sound Off and late registration fees for the Surf City Car Show held August 26 & 27 raised a whopping $27,510.80, the largest amount ever.
The directors of Angel’s Anonymous extend a huge “thank you” to Tony Blomstrom, Promotions Manager for the Casino, for his coordination of the Car Show and Sound Off and to Chinook Winds Casino Resort for it’s ongoing support.
