The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning for the coast for tonight (11/3) through tomorrow (11/4). South to Southwest winds expected to gust 30-40-mph with gusts to 60 mph. Strong winds could blow down weak trees and possibly cause power outages. Strong winds may also make travel difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
Winds are expected to be strongest overnight and tomorrow morning near the beaches and headlands. Winds could shift late in the morning and early afternoon and become strong near the coastal communities. It is advised to avoid areas with trees and branches. Showers and thunderstorms are possible after 2am through tomorrow with 1-3 inches of rain expected.
