The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning tonight 11/12/2024 from 8pm until 6am tomorrow morning 11/13/2024. South winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph are expected along the central Oregon Coast. Damaging winds could potentially blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Gustiest winds near the beaches and headlands.
According to the National weather service rain and wind are expected to continue throughout today. There is a flood advisory in affect throughout the day today. This will cause areas of urban and small stream flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor flooding, which can create flooded roadways and intersections. 2 to 5 inches of rain is expected today along the coast into the Coast Range. Drivers should watch for high water on the road and possible debris in some areas.
