On 3/8/2023 while traveling westbound on US 20 a blue Dodge pickup lost control due to icy conditions and rolled ending up on it driver side facing east on the westbound shoulder. The driver self-extricated himself and was checked by medics before refusing further medical services.
Another crash occurred on 3/8 when a Ford Flatbed roofing truck lost control while
westbound on US-20 coming down Cline Hill. The Ford crossed both eastbound lanes impacting the eastbound guardrail and then sliding back across all three lanes coming to a rest nose into the westbound guardrail blocking the entirety of the westbound and a portion on the eastbound lane. An oncoming Honda Coupe traveling westbound down Cline Hill lost control after seeing the lane blocked and slid on the ice crashing into the side of the Ford Truck. All parties involved denied injuries and declined medical evaluation on scene.
On 3/8/23 at approximately 7:30AM a northbound blue Toyota Tacoma was on Hwy 229 at Drift Creek road when the driver slid on ice and crashed into a tree. The truck rotated and came to rest facing northwest in the southbound lane. The driver was transported to Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital.
On 3/12/2023 a two vehicle injury crash occurred when the driver of a blue Toyota Camry lost control while traveling in the westbound lane on Hwy 18 and crossed into the eastbound lane sliding sideways into the front of a white Toyota Prius. The driver of the Toyota Camry and the driver and passenger of the Prius were all transported to Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital with serious injuries.
