At about 8:10 PM, on Friday January 19th Lincoln City Police Officers responded to a disturbance that involved a stabbing at the Lincoln City Outlet Mall. Upon arrival, officers located a male juvenile victim who had sustained cuts and stab wound injuries. The victim was transported by ambulance to Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital for treatment of his wounds. The suspect juvenile had fled the area prior to officers’ arrival. Lincoln City Police Detectives responded and began investigating. The suspect and another involved female juvenile ware located nearby. The female juvenile also sustained injuries during the incident and was transported to the hospital for medical treatment.
Based on information learned during the investigation, detectives arrested the suspect male juvenile on charges of Assault in the First Degree, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and Reckless Endangering. The arrested juvenile was transported to the Linn/Benton Juvenile Detention Center where he is being held. The investigation is on-going and additional charges may be filed.
