Make the Lincoln County Fair a part of your weekend plans. The Lincoln County Fair and Rodeo is taking place June 30-July 2 at the Lincoln County commons. Gates open each day at 10am and admission to the fair is once again free. A variety of music will be featured throughout the weekend including The Boondock Boys, Rockfish, Blues Variant and the popular Thunder and Lightness Drum Circle.
Enjoy rodeo action Friday and Saturday nights at 5pm. Watch some of the best NW Professional cowboys and cowgirls as they take on bronc riding, calf roping, bull riding barrel racing and more. Tickets are $15 for adults and $7.50 for kids. Tickets can be purchased online at ticketleap.com or with cash at the gate for $20 for adults and $10 for kids.
Back again this year is the Lincoln County Rodeo Queen and Royal Court. The last time Lincoln County had a Rodeo Queen and Court was in 2007This year’s Queen is Kerry Ann Sweitz-Fendt of Otis. Her royal court members include Dalynn Shinholster, Gracie Palmer, Abby Ammons and Jasmine Lechner. Congratulations to these five women who make incredible contributions to our county and will represent the Lincoln County Fair and Rodeo throughout the year.
The popular Bouncy Houses will be back again for the kids this year. There will also be face painting, the barn will be open with the 4-H animals on display, camel rides, OMSI and more. Don’t forget to bring your appetite as traditional fair foods and more will be available at the food court. This year’s fair has vendors inside and out, the US Military will be on hand, and static exhibits. Traditional events will be featured including the Senior BBQ on Friday, Bingo and roving entertainment.
