New Commissioner Applicants Down To Three

County Commissioners Hall and Miller conducted a work session yesterday morning 2/12/25 to meet with those who had applied to be a county commissioner. The commissioners narrowed the list from 26 to four that they chose to interview. One of the four John Heath withdrew his candidacy prior to the interviews. The commissioners asked the remaining three Catherine Rigby, Ryan Parker and Walter Chuck 9 questions. These questions included their thoughts and ideas around things like short term rentals, emergency preparedness, housing and shelter projects, collaboration and accountability, and budget. Afterward commissioner Hall stated there would be no public deliberations that she and commissioner Miller will review the information on their own and they will have the matter up as a discussion item at the next board of commissioners meeting on February 19th at 10am.
