Update: As of the update on Wednesday 11/5/2024 at 5pm in the race for county commission only 49 votes seperate Commissioner Hall and Rick Beasley. The next update will be on Friday 11/8/2024 at 5pm.
Here are some local election results as of 8pm on Tuesday November 5th with 90% of the votes counted and a 67% voter turnout. In the State Senate race for 5th district Dick Anderson is ahead with 56% over Jo Boudroux who had 43% of the vote. Boudroux won over Anderson in Lincoln County however statewide he is leading.
For county commission position 2 Claire Hall is narrowly leading Rick Beasley with 232 votes in the lead over Claire Hall who has 12251 votes over Beasley who has12019. In Depoe Bay for the mayors race Kathy Short will remain the Mayor. Depoe Bay Council Member, Position 1 – 4 year term Autumn Watson won over Kathy Wyatt; Position 3 saw Debbie Poland over Hannah Grant.
Top 3 Toledo City Council members include Andrew Keating Jackie Kauffman and Tracy L Mix City of Waldport has a new Mayor with Heide Lambert winning over Melaia McKinley Kilduff City of Waldport top three Council Members include Jayme Morris Jerry Townsend and Greg Dunn Lincoln City council ward 3 Kevin Hohnbaum is ahead of Tammy Sanford
State Measures 115 that Authorizes impeachment of statewide elected officials by Oregon Legislature with two-thirds vote by each House; establishes process appears to be passing 64% to 35%.
Measure 116 Amends Constitution and Establishes 'Independent Public Service Compensation Commission' to determine salaries for specified officials; eliminates legislative authority to set such salaries right now has 51% no to 48% yes.
Measure 117 that would give voters option to rank candidates in order of preference; candidate receiving majority of votes in final round wins looks to be defeated with 57% no and 42% yes.
Measure 118 that would have Increased highest corporate minimum taxes; distributes revenue to eligible individuals; state replaces reduced federal benefits was defeated with 78% no.
Measure 119 Cannabis retailers/processors must remain neutral regarding communications to their employees from labor organizations; penalties is passing with 54% yes and 45% no votes.

Measure 21-231 – City of Toledo - Adopts New Charter for Toledo City Government is a close one with 710 Yes and 693 No; Measure 21-230 – Central Oregon Coast Fire & Rescue District Replacement of Current Operations Levy with new Operations Levy has failed with 1387 no votes and 698 yes; Measure 21-229 – Seal Rock Rural Fire Protection District A Five Year Levy for Needed Equipment and Disaster Preparedness has passed with 1081 yes votes to 790 no votes; Measure 21-228 – Lake Point Special Road District - Lake Point Special Road District Local Option Tax Measure failed with 109 no to 56 yes.
