On 12/11/19 at approximately 9:50 am State Police Trooper Severson was dispatched to a single vehicle crash. Investigation showed the driver of a Dodge Pickup, identified as Steven D. Taylor of Boise Idaho was southbound on HWY 101 in Seal Rock when the truck crossed the center line and drove through the northbound lane. The truck struck the earth embankment on the northbound shoulder, numerous mailboxes, bushes, and a stop sign, then overturned and came to a rest on its top facing northeast on the northbound shoulder. Seal Rock Fire personnel extricated Mr. Taylor from the truck and he was transported to Samaritan Pacific Communities hospital with unknown injuries. He was issued a citation for failure to maintain lane.
