The Lincoln City Planning and Community Development Department is actively engaged in revising the standards for signage and signage allowances. The city is seeking as much input as possible so that we can develop a sign code that meets the needs of our beautiful coastal community while also protecting the health, safety, and welfare of the public; enhancing and improving the overall aesthetics of the city; minimizing adverse safety factors to vehicles traveling or parking on the street as well as pedestrians walking on sidewalks and crossing at crosswalks; and ensuring that the constitutionally guaranteed right of free expression is protected.
The city has developed a short survey to help us in obtaining the thoughts and opinions of as many people as possible. We greatly appreciate you taking the time from your busy, busy schedule to share your valued thoughts and opinions by completing the short survey. This survey will remain open until July 31, 2019.
Please share with friends, family, neighbors, property owners, visitors, community groups, etc.
If you have any questions regarding this project, please contact Senior Planner AnneMarie Skinner by phone at 541-996-1227 or by email at askinner@lincolncity.org.
