State Police Issue Several Traffic Citations

On 1/25/2022 just after midnight State Police Trooper Katsikis stopped a black Dodge Neon for a traffic violation on hwy-101 north of Newport. An investigation revealed the driver a 29-year old of Cloverdale to be driving while suspended and driving uninsured. He was cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured, failure of previous violator to file and failure to register the vehicle, which was 780 impound.

Just before 7 pm on January 25th Trooper Katsikis stopped a Red Acura RSX for a traffic violation on hwy-101 near Logan Road. After an investigation the driver, identified as a 24-year old of Lincoln City was revealed to be driving with no operator's license and driving uninsured. He was cited for speeding, driving with no operators license and driving uninsured. The vehicle was 780 Impounded.

On 1/25/2022 at around 9:35 pm a grey 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix was stopped by Trooper Katsikis for a traffic violation on hwy-101 near the D River Wayside. After an investigation the driver a 35-year old of Lincoln City was revealed to be driving while suspended and driving uninsured. She was cited and the car was 780 impounded.

On 01/26/2022 at approximately 6:15am State Police Trooper Stewart responded to a single car crash. Investigations showed a Maroon Dodge ram 1500 was traveling westbound on Highway 20 at Milepost 20. The vehicle slid off the road way colliding with the guardrail due to the roads being icy. The driver, a 29-year old of Blodgett was uninjured and the vehicle was towed. Mr. Arnoldwas cited for driving uninsured.
